Anelisa Makwabe

Anelisa Makwabe is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and corporate governance. Currently serving as the Legal Services Manager at Coega Development Corporation since April 2023, Anelisa has previously held the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Manager at Dairy Group South Africa from April 2021 to March 2023, and at Coega Dairy from December 2018 to April 2021, where a significant merger was completed to establish the largest dairy company in Southern Africa. Anelisa also worked as a Corporate Compliance Officer at Goldberg & de Villiers Inc. from January 2016 to December 2018. Anelisa holds an Advanced Business Risk Management degree and a Compliance Management degree from the University of Cape Town, along with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Nelson Mandela University.
