Helena Bolta

Helena Bolta is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of visualization, software engineering, and data analytics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since February 2015, Helena teaches courses related to Artificial Intelligence in Health, Software Engineering, and Big Data in Life Sciences. Helena has also been associated with Universitat Oberta de Catalunya since February 2005, focusing on mobile application development and wireless communication. Extensive experience includes roles as Project Manager and Chief Information Officer at Beedata Analytics, Board Member at COEINF, and previous positions as a Software Architect and Data Consultant. Helena holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Big Data and Visual Analytics from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja and a Computer Engineering degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
