Edgar Vargas

Edgar Vargas is a seasoned finance and administration professional with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as Gerente de Finanzas y Administración at Coeur Mining, Inc. since February 2025, Vargas has previously held key positions including Gerente de Finanzas y Administración at SilverCrest Metals Inc. and Subgerente de Contraloría at Fortuna Silver Mines. With a strong background in auditing from Deloitte México and Crowe - Gossler, Vargas began their career as an Auditor and progressed to Managing roles, bringing over two decades of expertise in finance, administration, and auditing. Vargas holds a degree in Contador Público from Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, obtained in 2005.
