Marcela Varela Loggia

Marcela Varela Loggia is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Gerente de Administración y Finanzas at Sonda since October 2003, Marcela is responsible for ensuring cash flow availability and analyzing potential business opportunities and risks. Previously, Marcela worked at Citi from July 1997 to February 2003 as a Sub Gerente Sucursal California, where the focus was on investor relations and maintaining client relationships. Prior experience includes serving as Jefe de Contabilidad at 3M from November 1992 to June 1997, handling accounting information and reporting to headquarters. Marcela holds a degree in Contadora Pública from Universidad de la República and completed a high-level management program at IEEM - Escuela de Negocios in 2018.
