Doug Brown

Doug Brown is the SVP, Value & Access at Coeus Consulting Group. Doug has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on strategy, product development, and operational efficiency.

Doug started their career at Magellan Health in February 2002 as the VP, Chief Strategy Officer, Government Market. In this role, they were responsible for building long-term growth and retention strategies to ensure that products and services would meet the future needs of customers. Doug also focused on improving operational efficiency and stakeholder value. During their time at Magellan Health, Doug was the architect and executive sponsor of the Magellan Medicaid Trend Report, an annual publication that educated the market about the fundamentals of Medicaid pricing, the drivers of cost, traditional and specialty drug trends, and legislative activities that shaped the Medicaid program.

In July 2020, Doug left Magellan Health to join Coeus Consulting Group as the SVP, Value & Access. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company’s efforts to improve access to care and value-based reimbursement models.

Doug Brown completed their MBA at Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business and their BS in Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island.
