Jamal Elhandaz

Jamal Elhandaz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jamal started their career as a Retail Marketing Supervisor at PPG Industries in Saudi Arabia. Jamal then moved on to become an Operational Marketing Coordinator for Africa and DOM TOM at the same company. After that, they served as the Central Africa Sales & Marketing Director, overseeing a team and achieving sales and margin objectives.

In 2011, Jamal took a break for a personal project and embarked on a round-the-world trip, visiting 17 countries in 9 months.

Upon their return, they joined EMSUR as an Export Manager for Africa and the Middle East in the flexible packaging industry.

In 2014, Jamal pursued another personal project as the Qustomer Exclusive Distributor for Spain, where they launched an innovative loyalty program solution for local shops, now known as Joyn.

Following that, they worked as a Market Manager for Spain and Portugal in the Coil Coating industry at Beckers Group. Here, they managed a team of three, developed and implemented sales strategies, and handled the customer portfolio.

Currently, Jamal holds the position of Sales Director EMEA at COEXPAN, with previous roles including Sales Director - Spain & AME in the rigid packaging industry and Dairy Sales Manager for Iberia, Africa, and the Middle East, where they focused on key account management, negotiations, and business development.

From 2019 to 2021, Jamal attended Esade, where they completed an Executive Master in Marketing & Sales. During their time at Esade, they focused on enhancing their skills and knowledge in the field of marketing and sales.

In 2018, Jamal enrolled in the International Sales Development Program at IESE Business School. This program provided him with insights and expertise in the area of sales.

Earlier in their education, from 2001 to 2005, Jamal attended BBA INSEEC, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree. Their major field of study during this period was sales and marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Jamal has also obtained two certifications. In October 2019, they completed the "Envase plástico para uso alimentario / Food contact plastic packaging requirements" certification offered by AIMPLAS · Instituto Tecnológico del Plástico. In May 2019, they also obtained the certification in "Materiales Plásticos: Fundamentos, Aplicaciones y Tendencias / Plastic materials: bases, applications and trends" from the same institution.
