Hélène Martin has extensive work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Hélène currently holds the position of Head of Single Risk France at Coface since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, where they held the roles of Underwriter - Management Liability & Financial Institutions from January 2022 to November 2022, and Senior Underwriter - Credit and Political Risk from July 2015 to January 2022. Hélène also has experience at Liberty International Underwriters as an Underwriter - Trade Credit and Political Risk from December 2011 to February 2014. Before that, they worked at Platus as a Political Risk Insurance Broker from January 2010 to December 2011. Hélène began their career at KPMG Audit as an Auditor, specializing in insurance and reinsurance clients, from 2007 to 2009. Hélène also worked at EuroPR Group as an Account Executive Assistant, where they developed their communication and organizational skills from 2003 to 2004.
Hélène Martin has a diverse education history. Hélène obtained a Diplôme de l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques from Sciences Po Aix in 2005 after completing a four-year program. In 2004-2005, they also attended Sciences Po Aix and pursued a Master Administration et Entreprise. In 2005-2006, they studied at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and received an MSc Global Politics. In addition to their academic degrees, Hélène has pursued various certifications throughout the years. Hélène obtained a DAEFLE certification from Alliance Française Paris Ile-de-France in 2014, completed a course on Rédaction de contrats through Coursera in 2015, and received a Corporate Credit Analysis certification from Fitch Learning in 2019. Hélène'smost recent certifications include Cross-border Certification from CrossKnowledge in 2021 and International Programs Underwriting (other than Surety) Certification from Zurich Insurance in 2022.
