Joana Maia has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Joana is currently working as a Talent Development Lead at COFCO International, responsible for managing the talent development initiatives, including a commercial graduate program and a development program for talented employees. Previously, they worked at Ibersol Group, where they held roles such as Compensation and Benefits Manager, Talent Acquisition and Communication Manager, Training and Development Manager, and Training and Development Technician. Their responsibilities in these roles included managing recruitment and selection processes, implementing a recruitment system, managing internal and external communication, designing and implementing training solutions, updating performance management systems, and conducting annual performance management cycles. Prior to that, they worked at Millennium bcp in a role related to credit recovery in a call center.

Joana Maia completed their education at Porto Business School from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a degree in Leadership for Intermediate Management in the field of Management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Porto from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Master's degree in Work and Organizational Psychology. In addition to their academic qualifications, Joana also holds certifications such as Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn, Análise do Perfil Pessoal (PPA) - DISC from Thomas International, and Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas de Formador (CAP) from IEFP.
