João A. S. Castro

João A. S. Castro has an extensive background in Human Resources, with experience in various leadership positions. João A. S. started their career in 1988 at Ford Motor Company, where they served as the HRBP Leader for 15 years. After that, they worked at PepsiCo as a Human Resources Manager for the Salts Business Unit from 2003 to 2005. João A. S. then joined Alcoa as the Latin America Human Resources Senior Manager for the Extrusion Business Unit from 2005 to 2009. Following Alcoa, they worked at Monsanto as the Human Resources Senior Manager for the Crop Protection Organization & Brazil Labor and Union Relations from 2009 to 2012. João A. S. then joined Yara as the Human Resources Director for Brazil and Argentina in 2012. In 2013, they moved to Ecovix Construções Oceânicas, a joint venture between Mitsubishi Heavy Industry (MHI) and Jackson Group, where they served as the Human Resources Corporate Director until 2016. Currently, they work at COFCO International as the Human Resources Director for Brazil and Colombia.

João A. S. Castro obtained their MBA in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, where they studied from 2003 to 2004.
