Justin Sorto

Justin Sorto has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Justin is currently the Head of Operations & Supply Chain for North America at COFCO International since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Operations & Supply Chain USA at the same company from July 2021 to May 2022. Before joining COFCO International, Justin served as an Operations/Continuous Improvement Manager at COFCO International, where they played a crucial role in operational optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Justin also led post-M&A integration efforts and developed processes and procedures across all operational and business functions. Justin's previous experience includes working as a Business Development & Logistics Manager at COFCO International, where they contributed to expanding the customer base, managing logistical support, and developing strategic alliances. Additionally, Justin was an Angel Investor at Nano Gas Technologies, Inc., where they helped drive the sustainable solution's expansion across different industries. Prior to that, they worked as a Commodity Manager at COFCO US INC., where they managed buying, selling, and holding functions, and as an Export Container Business Unit Manager/Logistics Manager at CGB Enterprises, Inc., where they oversaw the growth of the global customer base and developed marketing strategies. Justin's work experience demonstrates their expertise in operations, supply chain management, business development, and strategic planning.

Justin Sorto completed their education at multiple institutions. Justin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance, specialization in International Business, and a minor in Spanish from the University of South Carolina in 2002. In 2013, they earned an MBA in Operations Management from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Additionally, they pursued further certifications in areas such as leadership training, supply chain management, and business analytics from various institutions such as Insights, the Center for Creative Leadership, and LinkedIn.
