Ridwaan Omar

Ridwaan Omar is an experienced professional in the trading sector, currently serving as the Head of US Trading at COFCO International since March 2020, focusing on physical trading, proprietary trading, research, and operations within the Cotton Platform. Prior roles at COFCO included Senior Trader and Trader, both centered on physical trading and hedge desk activities. Before joining COFCO, Ridwaan gained trading experience at Louis Dreyfus Company and held positions in investment banking as an analyst at NatWest Group and UBS, where expertise in various sectors such as debt capital markets, corporate advisory, and portfolio management was developed. Ridwaan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business and completed a specialization in Financial Markets and Investment Strategy at the University of Geneva.
