Elmer Hernandez

Elmer Hernandez has a diverse work experience in the field of threat analysis, sales and technical support, political risk analysis, intelligence analysis, and corporate intelligence.

Elmer has worked at COFENSE since 2019, starting as a Threat Analyst and currently holding the position of Threat Analyst Team Lead.

Prior to that, Elmer worked at GISnet SC as a Sales and Technical Support staff from February 2019 to November 2019.

Elmer also completed internships at AKE International and Riskline in 2017, where they gained experience in political risk analysis and intelligence analysis.

In 2016, Elmer interned at The Inkerman Group in the Corporate Intelligence department, where they were involved in producing and assessing intelligence for clients concerning risks and threats to their business operations.

Elmer Hernandez has a solid educational background in the field of information security and international security. Elmer obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Security from the University of Surrey in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Intelligence and International Security at King's College London from 2015 to 2016. Elmer also holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations from The University of Manchester, which they completed from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Elmer has also obtained a certification in Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate from Cisco in October 2021.
