John Moore currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Coffee at Farmer Brothers since May 2023, overseeing various aspects of coffee procurement, sustainability, and quality assurance. With extensive experience in the coffee industry, John has held prestigious roles such as Cup of Excellence Head Judge at the Alliance for Coffee Excellence, Inc. since October 2017, and Certified CQI Arabica Q Grader at the Coffee Quality Institute since April 2009. John has also been the CEO and President of Vassilaros Coffee Company from July 2018 to May 2023, and previously worked as a Senior Trader and General Manager at Volcafe Specialty Coffee. Other notable positions include Partner & CEO at FAL Coffee and VP of Sales & Marketing at Dallis Bros Coffee. John co-founded yummy coffee and held various roles in sales, consulting, and operations at several other coffee companies earlier in the career. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Earlham College in 1993.
