Silvia Díez Barroso

Silvia D. is a Lecturer at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen since May 2019, teaching at both BA and MA levels in the departments of Media Studies and Communication and Information Science. Notable courses include Digital Humanities-related subjects and analyzing media texts. Currently working as a PhD Candidate on a Digital Humanities project at the Faculty of Philosophy, focusing on networks in early modern natural philosophy. Previous experience includes roles as Chief Executive Dinosaur at Flapper Management, data analyst intern, and communications roles at Stichting SintJan/Coöperatie Klooster&Buren. Silvia also directed a weekly radio program at Glasnost, and held various positions in customer service and event management. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Digital Humanities and a Bachelor's degree in General Literary Studies from the University of Groningen.
