Gaurav Singhal

Gaurav Singhal has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. Gaurav is currently working as the Head of Data Monetization at COFRA Holding AG. Prior to this, they were a Research Associate at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where they focused on developing AI/ML technologies for commercial and industrial purposes. Gaurav was also the Founder & CEO of Arboreum, an AI-enabled trade-finance startup. Additionally, they have held positions as a Senior Consultant at The World Bank and the World Food Programme. Gaurav has also contributed significantly as a Lead Data Scientist at the World Food Programme and as a Junior Fellow at the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Accenture Technology Labs and an Analyst - Health & Public Service at Accenture. Throughout their career, Gaurav has demonstrated expertise in areas such as deep reservoir computing, machine learning, and data analysis.

Gaurav Singhal obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Electrical Engineering and Economics, from Purdue University in 2007. Gaurav then pursued Master's degrees in Economics and Information Science/Studies from the University of Michigan, completing their studies in 2013.
