Michiel van der Horst

Michiel van der Horst has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michiel has recently worked as the Head of Service Delivery at COFRA Holding AG, where they ensured high levels of performance in service delivery processes and drove continuous improvement. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Process Manager at COFRA Holding AG and as a Service Delivery Manager (a.i.) at Boskalis. Michiel also owned their own business, Van der Horst Interim Management & Consultancy, from 2017 to 2020. Previously, they held roles such as Operational Excellence Manager at Kao Corporation, Project Manager at KPN, and European Business Architect at Canon (Europe). Early in their career, they worked as a Senior Business Consultant at EBridge (FSSC Randstad Nederland) and as a Manager Transformation at The Hackett Group. Michiel began their career as a Manager Billing & Credit Control at Baker & McKenzie and as a Project Manager at Accenture.

Michiel van der Horst has a Master's degree in Planologie from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained from 1992 to 1998. Michiel also completed a Post Graduate program in CMA at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2012. In 2014, they earned a Black Belt in Lean from UNC Plus Delta. Additionally, they attended Fons Vitae Lyceum from 1989 to 1990 for their Atheneum education and Hervormd Lyceum from 1983 to 1988.
