Carmen Badur has a diverse work experience in the field of design and user experience. Carmen is currently the Director of UX/HXD at Cogency Global Inc., where they lead human experience design and implements human-centric research and design solutions. Prior to this, Carmen served as the Head of User Experience at Morgan & Morgan, P.A. from October 2019 to June 2021. Carmen also worked as a Strategic Designer and Senior Designer/User Experience Researcher at Birsel + Seck from September 2018 to October 2019. Carmen has also worked as a Creative Consultant at BRAND INITIATIVES GROUP and as a Design Consultant at Edmaker during 2019. Additionally, they had the role of Design Strategist at Welcome Earth from June 2018 to June 2019. Carmen's earlier experience includes working as a Designer at Breakeven Werbeagentur Berlin from May 2014 to August 2016, where they were responsible for creating visual identities and branding, designing newsletters and promotional campaigns, developing campaigns and look books, and conceptualizing credit-card campaigns for various clients.
Carmen Badur pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial and Product Design. Following this, they enrolled at Parsons School of Design - The New School and from 2016 to 2018, they successfully completed their Master of Science degree in Strategic Design and Management. In May 2019, they obtained their Master of Science certification from Parsons School of Design - The New School, and in March 2015, they received their Bachelor of Arts certification from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin.
