Kevin James

Kevin James has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kevin has been the Managing Director of Cogent Associates Ireland since June 2007. In addition, they have served as the President of SCSI - Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland since June 2022 and previously held the position of Vice President from May 2021 to May 2022. Kevin is also a Member of the Construction Industry Council (Ireland) since May 2019. Prior to these roles, they were the Past Chair of SCSI QSPG at the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland from May 2017 to May 2019. Kevin started their career at Gardiner & Theobald LLP, where they held the positions of Director from 2003 to 2007 and Associate Partner from 1999 to 2003.

Kevin James attended St Columbs College Grammer School in Derry from 1984 to 1989. Later, they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying at Sheffield Hallam University from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they completed courses at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors until 1998 and the Society of Chartered Surveyors, Ireland until 2003.
