Leah Salituro

Leah Salituro is a Principal Scientist at Cogent Biosciences, a position held since May 2022, following a tenure as Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student at the University of California, Irvine from June 2017 to March 2022, specializing in natural product synthesis and chemical cross-linkers under the guidance of Professor Scott Rychnovsky. Earlier research contributions were made at Connecticut College from June 2014 to May 2017 as a Research Student, focusing on bioluminescent research with Professor Bruce Branchini, and during an internship at the University of Otago in 2016. Additionally, an internship at Merck in 2015 involved developing a method for the quantitation of pharmaceuticals. Leah Salituro holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from UC Irvine and a BA in Chemistry from Connecticut College.
