The leaders of Cogent Embedded all have experience in the technology industry, with a focus on embedded software development. They have worked for companies such as Mentor Graphics, Embedded Alley Solutions Inc, MontaVista Software, RTSoft, Alpine Electronics Japan, Toshiba, and Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH. They all have a computer science education from Saint Petersburg State University.
