Machine Learning Scientist at Cogent Labs

Martin Nordström has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Martin started their career at Fraunhofer Chalmers Center in 2010 as a part-time programmer under a contract. In 2011, they worked at SICS, focusing on their master's thesis on methods for anonymizing patterns of human mobility. In 2013, they joined Jeppesen as a software engineer until 2014. Following that, they worked as a senior consultant at Aurora Solutions Ltd from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are working at Cogent Labs, starting as a machine learning engineer in 2015 and currently holding the position of a machine learning scientist.

Martin Nordström completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology from 2006 to 2009. Martin then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Complex Adaptive Systems from the same university, graduating in 2011. In 2012, Martin attended the KAI Japanese Language School for a General Japanese Language Course. Martin also obtained several certifications, including Certified Developer on Apache Cassandra from O'Reilly Media in May 2016, Developer Certification for Apache Spark from O'Reilly Media in November 2015, Practical Machine Learning from Coursera in July 2014, Introduction to Data Science from Coursera in June 2013, Natural Language Processing from Coursera in May 2013, Game Theory from Coursera in February 2013, and Computational Investing, Part I from Coursera in December 2012.
