Ian Kelly

Ian Kelly PhD is an experienced architect and team lead at Cogito Corp, with a background in software engineering and digital signal processing (DSP). Prior to this role, Ian worked at Google as a software engineer, contributing to Resonance Audio, a multi-platform spatial audio SDK, and developing DSP algorithms for Google VR's spatial audio systems. Ian was also a founding member and DSP engineer at Thrive Audio, a company specializing in 3D audio solutions for games and spatial media, which was acquired by Google in 2015. Ian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Acoustic Digital Signal Processing and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Trinity College Dublin.
