Dan Modaff

Dan Modaff is an accomplished academic and author with extensive experience in the field of communication. Currently, since January 2020, Dan serves as an author for Cognella. Concurrently, since July 2010, Dan has been an Associate Professor and Chair at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, having previously held the title of Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Dan worked as an author for Pearson Education/Allyn & Bacon from 2007 to May 2019 and served as Department Head and Associate Professor at Western Kentucky University from July 2009 to June 2010. Dan began an academic career at Ohio University, where the role of Associate Professor was held from August 1995 to June 2009. Dan earned a PhD in Organizational Communication from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S./M.A. in Communication from Northern Illinois University.
