Jennifer Butler Modaff

Jennifer Butler Modaff is an Associate Professor in Communication Studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse since August 2010, focusing on the intersection of work and life balance. Teaching courses in public speaking, organizational communication, and health communication, Jennifer also serves as the UWL Academic Director for the MS Cybersecurity Collaborative Degree. Jennifer has authored publications for Cognella and Pearson, and held positions such as Chief Executive Officer and Head of Personnel on the school board at La Crescent Montessori & STEM Academy. Previous academic roles include Instructor at Ohio University and Assistant Professor at Northern Kentucky University. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Communication, as well as an MA and BA in Sociology, all from Ohio University.
