Matthew Hutson

Matthew Hutson is a seasoned author and freelance science writer with extensive experience in science communication and psychology. Currently writing a book on diverse intelligences with HarperCollins Publishers, Matthew also authored "The 7 Laws of Magical Thinking," exploring the psychology of superstition and religion through Penguin Group USA. As a contributing writer for The New Yorker and past roles including news editor for Psychology Today and senior science writer at Sally Ride Science, Matthew has effectively covered a wide range of topics in science and technology. Educationally, Matthew holds a Master’s degree in science writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in cognitive neuroscience from Brown University.
