Carles Matabosch

Carles Matabosch, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in software engineering and industrial engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Cognex Corporation since September 2016. Previously, Carles also held the position of Manager of Software Engineering at Cognex. Carles was a City Council Member for Ajuntament de Caldes de Malavella from May 2021 to June 2023. Prior to these roles, Carles served as Technical Director and Operations Manager at AQSENSE S.L. between August 2006 and August 2016. Academically, Carles Matabosch earned a degree in Enginyeria Industrial and a PhD in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Computer Vision from Universitat de Girona, completing the latter in 2022.
