Diego Balduini

Diego Balduini has over 10 years of work experience in data engineering and software engineering. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a System Analyst at Indra, where they were responsible for systems integration and development of web applications, web services, and APIs using Java EE, C/C++, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, JSF, and Hibernate. In 2013, they worked as a Scala Programmer at Eicon Controle Inteligentes, where they were responsible for developing the new Invoice system. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Freelance Author at DevMedia, writing Java articles for Java Magazine and Easy Java Magazine. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they were a Garage Method evangelist and a Full Stack Developer for Cloud Services. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Big Data Consultant and Senior Systems Analyst at Vivo (Telefônica Brasil). From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Data Engineer at Itility and a Senior Data Engineer at Loft, where they were responsible for the full lifecycle of real state market data pipelines. Diego also worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Boa Vista, where they were responsible for building a batch data pipeline platform to handle terabytes of data every day. Currently, they are a Data Engineer at Cognira.

Diego Balduini has a diverse educational background. Diego obtained a Technologist in Information Systems from Centro Universitário Eniac between 2007 and 2009. From 2011 to 2012, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Software Engineering from FIAP. In 2016, they completed a Specialization in Machine Learning from the University of Washington.
