Simon Camby

Simon Camby is the Group Chief Education Officer at Cognita Schools, where responsibilities include overseeing a network of over 100 schools across 17 countries, aimed at enabling student success in a changing world. Camby also serves as an Honorary Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Education, teaching on the MBA Educational Leadership program and supervising advanced degree dissertations. Previous roles include Director at the Council of International Schools and Group Education Director at Cognita Schools, contributing to international education standards and school development. As the founding Chief Executive of Focus-Trust, Camby led the growth of a multi-academy trust, and also directed Focus Education, providing consultancy and training to schools. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education from UCL, a Master’s Degree from The Open University, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cambridge.
