Alex Vincent

Alex Vincent has a range of experience in the field of data engineering and development. Alex started their career at Wipro Limited in 2010 as a Project Engineer, where they worked on mediation solutions and played a key role in major roll-outs. Alex then joined CSG International in 2012 as a Development Consultant, Specialist, designing and implementing pre-processing managers and scripts for an Active Mediation system. At Astro from 2020 to 2022, Alex held the role of AVP, Big Data Engineer, where they designed and implemented data pipelines using AWS Data Analytics services. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Data Engineer at Cognite.

Alex Vincent completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy from 2005 to 2009. In addition, Alex has obtained several certifications, including the Working with CDF Basics Completion Certificate from Cognite Academy in March 2022, AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021, Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate from AWS in May 2021, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from AWS in April 2021, Modern Big Data Analysis with SQL from Coursera in January 2020, Data Science Specialization from Coursera in June 2019, and AWS Certified Developer – Associate from AWS in August 2018.
