Data Science Lead, Energy Production And Operations at Cognite

Andris Piebalgs has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Additionally, Andris worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Imperial College London from June 2017 to September 2017, where they focused on developing computational fluid dynamics code for cardiovascular therapy and creating mathematical models for blood clot dissolution. Andris also worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Fifty Media (Fifty Technology Ltd) for a brief period in September and October 2016.

Andris started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Imperial College London in July 2012, gaining valuable research experience early in their career.

Andris Piebalgs pursued their higher education at Imperial College London, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering at the same institution from 2013 to 2017.
