Dr. Roksana M.

Dr. Roksana M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Dr. Roksana is currently working as the Director of Compliance at Cognite since October 2021. Prior to this, they were an Associate Professor of Data Ethics & Regulation at Kristiania University College starting from September 2020.

From September 2019 to October 2021, Dr. M. served as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Norway and Denmark and Legal Counsel at Dun & Bradstreet Europe. Before that, they worked as a Technology Law and Privacy Subject Matter Expert (SME) as an Independent consultant from January 2018 to September 2019.

Dr. M. also has experience working with Deloitte UK as a Privacy SME - Cyber Risk from January 2016 to November 2017. Prior to that, they were an IT and IP Law Specialist at WestonLafone from an unspecified start date to January 2016.

Additionally, Dr. M. has worked as the UK country expert for an EU Commission study at Spark Legal Network and Consultancy from February 2013 to June 2014. Dr. Roksana also served as an Assistant Professor in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law at The University of Southampton from September 2010 to an unspecified end date in 2014.

Before that, Dr. M. worked as an Information Technology Law Professional Support Lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills from August 2009 to September 2010. Lastly, they were a Sessional Lecturer in Information Security Law at Queen Mary, University of London from January 2010 to April 2010.

Dr. Roksana furthered their education by conducting research and pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Software Liability at Queen Mary University of London from 2009 to 2014.
