Edel Hvesser-Andersen

Edel Hvesser-Andersen has extensive experience in technical writing and translation. Edel is currently working as a Senior Technical Writer at Cognite AS since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Thales Commercial Norway AS as a Documentation Manager from March 2017 to March 2020. Edel also served as a Technical Writer Expert at CompuGroup Medical Norway AS from February 2016 to March 2017. Edel previously worked at Schlumberger as a Technical Communicator Specialist from September 2011 to December 2015. Edel had a long tenure at Unit4 R&D, where they held various roles including Senior Technical Writer (April 2008 to September 2011), Team Leader (March 2009 to October 2010), Technical Writer (August 2002 to April 2008), Translation Coordinator (2000-2004), and Technical Translator (1998-2000). Additionally, they worked briefly as a Technical Translator at Alpha CRC, INK AS, and IBM.

Edel Hvesser-Andersen attended the University of Agder (UiA) from 1993 to 1996, but did not complete a degree nor specify a field of study. Prior to that, in 1992 to 1993, they studied English at the University of Oslo (UiO).
