Ivar Stangeby

Ivar Stangeby has diverse work experience in various roles. Ivar is currently employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cognite AS since May 2020. Previously, they worked as a PhD Student at SINTEF Digital from August 2018 to May 2020. Before that, they served as a Consultant at the University of Oslo Library, Realfagsbiblioteket, where their responsibilities included live streaming of presentations, operating cameras, and managing administrative tasks from February 2016 to June 2018. Ivar also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Oslo in 2016 and 2015, where they taught an introductory course in scientific computing using Python programming language. Additionally, they have experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Oslo in 2014 and as an Arkivarbeid at Finansforbundet (Norge) in 2013.

Ivar Stangeby attended Oslo Katedralskole from 2011 to 2013, where they completed their high school education with a focus on natural sciences. Ivar then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2013 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, Ivar continued their education at UiO and obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from 2016 to 2018.
