Jaime Andres Silva Velosa

Jaime Andres Silva Velosa has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Jaime Andres is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Cognite since May 2021. Previously, they worked at Olimpia IT from 2016 to 2021, serving in various roles including Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Data Science Analyst, and Development Engineer. In 2016, they had internships at Microsoft and Google as a Software Engineering Intern. Prior to that, they worked as a Test Engineer at Olimpia IT from 2014 to 2015 and as a Junior ABAP Consultant at Elite Consulting from 2013 to 2014.

Jaime Andres Silva Velosa pursued their education at two different institutions. Jaime Andres attended the Instituto Alberto Merani from 2003 to 2012, where they obtained a degree as a Bachiller Académico. Subsequently, they studied at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2013 to 2020, majoring in Mathematics. At this university, they pursued a degree in Matemático.

Additionally, Jaime obtained several certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2009, they achieved the IOI Contestant Statistics certification from the International Olympiad in Informatics. In 2013, they obtained the ICPCID certification from the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. Lastly, in August 2020, they completed the DS4A/Colombia 2.0 certification at Correlation One.
