Janne Graff Nesse

Janne Graff Nesse has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role is as a Data Engineer II at Cognite, which began in January 2023. Prior to this, they held a position as a Data Engineer at Cognite from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Cognite, Nesse worked as a Research Assistant at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) from September 2020 to September 2021. They also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Nordea Markets, Corporates & Institutions in June 2020 to August 2020 and as a Customer Success Intern at Cognite AS from January 2020 to June 2020.

Nesse's earlier experiences include working as a Trainee at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Houston from August 2019 to December 2019, and as a Technology Intern in Data and Analytics at EY from June 2019 to August 2019. They also served as a Læringsassistent Teknostart at NTNU in August 2018.

Additionally, Nesse has previous experience as a Fundraiser at Norges Røde Kors in June 2016 to August 2016, and as a Personal Assistant for youth with Downs Syndrome at Oslo kommune from September 2013 to June 2015. They participated in a Leader Training program at the Young Ambassadors Foundation from September 2013 to April 2014.

Janne Graff Nesse attended Elvebakken High School from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Realfag, focusing on General Studies. Janne then enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2015 and completed their M.Sc in Industriell Økonomi og teknologiledelse, with a specialization in Datateknologi and Optimering, in 2021. From 2017 to 2018, they engaged in an exchange program at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, where they studied Computer Science, Economy, and Marketing. Currently, Janne Graff Nesse is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statsvitenskap at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), expected to be completed in 2023.
