Jørgen Nøvik

Jørgen Nøvik has extensive experience in the technology and industrial sectors. Jørgen currently works as the Business Development Director - Oil & Gas at Cognite, where they focus on leveraging data to drive change and progress in asset-heavy industries. Prior to this, Jørgen worked as a Strategic Account Manager at AVEVA, where they provided digital transformation solutions to engineering and operations in the US central region. Jørgen also served as a Strategic Account Executive at Emerson Automation Solutions, helping upstream oil & gas companies optimize production and achieve cost-efficiency through the deployment of Emerson technology. Jørgen has a strong sales background and held multiple roles at ExproSoft, including Senior Sales Executive, Sales and Marketing Director, Sales Manager, and Sales Executive - Europe. Additionally, they have experience in account management at Asolvi and volunteered at the American Marketing Association. Jørgen began their career as a Marketing Manager and Marketing Research Intern at Escalent. Jørgen also worked as a Consultant at Innovation Norway, where they conducted market research on the distribution of salmon in the US market, and as a Food Marketer at Seafood Norway AS. Jørgen's leadership skills were developed during their time in the Norwegian Army, where they served as a Corporal. Jørgen Nøvik completed their education in a chronological order. In 2004, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Marketing from BI Norwegian Business School. Jørgen then pursued an Undergraduate degree in International Business from Fudan University, which they completed in 2007. Following that, Jørgen Nøvik obtained a Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College between 2007 and 2009.
