Jørgen Tellefsen

Jørgen Tellefsen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Jørgen is currently serving as the VP Corporate Development at Cognite since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Aker Horizons as the Chief Digital Officer from October 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Aker Horizons, Jørgen worked at Cognite AS, where they held the position of Senior Director of Customer Success from July 2019 to October 2022. Jørgen started their tenure at Cognite AS as the Director of Customer Success from July 2017 to June 2019.

Jørgen also had a stint at Aker Solutions as the Acting SVP Digitalization from November 2020 to August 2021, where they were seconded from Cognite to lead the digital department. During their time there, they developed and implemented a new digital strategy in alignment with the revised corporate strategy. Jørgen was responsible for leading a team of 10+ resources and recruited an external permanent SVP Digital.

Earlier in their career, Jørgen worked at PwC Norway as a Manager in the strategy department from January 2015 to June 2017. Jørgen was involved in various projects related to corporate strategy for b2b software companies, regional utilities, and a national innovation/R&D funding agency. Prior to this role, they held positions as a Senior Associate and an Associate at PwC.

Jørgen started their career as a Procurement Graduate at Statoil ASA from August 2010 to July 2011. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in corporate development, digitalization, customer success, and strategic consulting.

Jørgen Tellefsen began their education in 2003 at Befalsskolen for Sjøforsvaret, where they studied Navigation. Jørgen completed this program in 2004. In 2005, Jørgen enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), pursuing a degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management. Jørgen obtained their MSc in this field in 2010.

Additionally, in 2008, Jørgen pursued a Post Graduate program in Finance at The University of Western Australia, which they completed in 2009.
