Nakarin Phooripoom

Nakarin Phooripoom has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nakarin started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Høgskolen i Oslo in 2007 and continued in that role until 2011. In 2008, Nakarin co-founded CFEngine AS, where they served as a Co-founder, Mission Specialist, and Infrastructure Engineer until 2014. During their time at CFEngine AS, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Høgskolen i Oslo from 2008 to 2011.

In 2014, Nakarin joined Global Servicing Solutions, LLC as a CFEngine Consultant. At the same time, they also started their own business, Phooripoom ENK, where they acted as the Owner and CEO.

From 2016 to 2019, Nakarin worked at Varnish Software Group as a Team Lead and Senior Cloud Architect. Nakarin was responsible for leading a team and working on cloud architecture projects.

In 2019, Nakarin joined Cognite AS as a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included providing services to developers for efficient and secure application development and deployment. Nakarin also assisted developers with documentation, training, and worked with various platforms and tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and Google Cloud Platform.

In 2020, Nakarin started working as a Lecturer at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University.

Throughout their career, Nakarin has demonstrated a strong background in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, and teaching.

Nakarin Phooripoom completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Khon Kaen University from 1999 to 2003. Nakarin then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in System and Network administration from Oslo and Akershus University College from 2006 to 2008.
