Simen Eriksen

Simen Eriksen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Survey Engineer at Målselv Maskin. In this role, they gained experience using Leica software and hardware for GPS system management and performing tasks such as 3D plotting and cable/pipe placement. Simen also conducted mass calculations.

From June to August 2016, Simen worked as an Assistant Survey Engineer at Målselv Maskin, where they focused on Global Positioning System work and documentation for a district heating and road project in Lenvik, Troms. This experience helped him in their final year of education.

From June 2017 to July 2018, Simen served as a Survey Engineer at Målselv Maskin og Transport AS. Simen was assigned the responsibility of documenting the progress and measuring all pipes and roads for a road project in Skjervøy, Norway. This involved various tasks like documentation, measurements, projections, and generating mass balances using Gemini 3D software. The project improved road safety and facilitated the transportation of salmon in the region.

Finally, since July 2018, Simen has been working at Cognite as an IT Manager. Recently, in November 2021, they took on the role of Security Engineer. Further details about this role are not provided.

Simen Eriksen completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended high school in Finnfjordbotn, where they obtained a degree in General Studies, from 2011 to 2014.
