Waqas Javed

Waqas Javed has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 2014, they served as an Executive Decor for the Nust Fine Arts Club. In 2015, they worked as an Executive for IEEE NUST Student Branch. Waqas then joined Software Productivity Strategists, Inc. (SPS) as an Internee in 2016, where they gained experience in the Internet of Things domain. Concurrently, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, assisting students with Object Oriented Programming. In 2017, Waqas became a Junior Developer at SPS and later served as President of Kalakaar, organizing a talent hunt event. In 2018, they returned to SPS as a Full Stack Developer. From 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Deputy Director Web & IT at NUST Summer School. In 2020, they joined APIMatic as a Full Stack Engineer, and currently, they work at Cognite as a Software Engineer.

Waqas Javed attended the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they also completed several certifications, including the "IBM Cloud - Watson Developer Cloud Exploration Workshop," "Machine Learning with Python - Level 1," "Python for Data Science," "Robots are coming! Build IoT apps with Watson AI, Swift, and Node-RED," and "Data Science Foundations - Level 1." These certifications were obtained in 2018, with the majority acquired in November.
