Jason Ruckman

Jason Ruckman has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mindex. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at SDL plc. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Dreambox. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Principal Engineer at HERE Technologies, where they designed and implemented a managed streaming platform for use by both internal and external customers. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, working on the Kinesis Analytics team. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Principal Engineer at HERE Technologies, working on an exabyte scale spatial storage engine written in C++. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as both a Senior Director and Principal Software Engineer at Cognitiv. During this time, they also founded and served as CTO of SecureCloudDB, a cloud database security company.

Jason Ruckman holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo.
