Matthew Torpey

Matthew Torpey has over 15 years of experience in the field of validation and quality management systems (QMS). From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Validation Engineer at Covex LLC. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an IRB Analyst I at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Sr. Validation Engineer at Covex LLC. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Quality Assurance - Validation Specialist at WuXi AppTec and as an Associate Director at Center for Breakthrough Medicines. Currently, they are a Director of QA at Science 37 and a Director, Validation & QMS at Cognitive Research Corporation.

Matthew Torpey obtained a Masters of Science in Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs from Temple University between 2005 and 2009. Prior to this, they attended Rowan University from 1999 to 2003, but did not receive a degree. Matthew also holds a certification from the American Society for Quality as a Certified Quality Auditor.
