Evandro Lopes

Evandro Lopes has a diverse and extensive work experience. Evandro began their career in 2011 as a Trainee at ADDLabs, where they developed, supported and applied statistical methods to improve decision making, and used classification trees, association rules and probabilistic methodologies. In 2014, they moved to Hotel Urbano, where they worked as Lead Data Scientist and was responsible for Recommendations Systems using collaborative filtering based on customer data, as well as customer segmentation using K-means and latent factor models. In 2015, they co-founded Prognoos, and in 2017, they co-founded Cognitivo.ai, the first and largest artificial intelligence and data experts platform in Brazil.

Evandro Lopes completed their Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Universidade Federal Fluminense in 2013. Evandro then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed in 2015.
