Vitella Fomenko has a diverse range of work experience. Vitella started their career as a Veterinary Assistant at D&N Vet Clinic in 2015, where they gained experience in performing regular check-ups, assisting with surgeries, and interacting with pet owners. In 2014, they worked as a Crew Member and Russian translator at PaphosSeaCruises, where they also took on various roles such as entertainer, bartender, cleaner, and waitress. From 2018 to 2018, Vitella worked as a Student Laboratory/Research Assistant at the Russian Research Center "Kurchatov Institute," contributing to a long-term study on memory formation using microscopic imaging techniques. Vitella then transitioned to H1 in 2021, where they held positions as a Research Data Analyst and later as a Project Manager until 2021. Currently, Vitella is at Cognito Therapeutics, Inc. since 2021, serving as an Associate Program Manager and Consultant.

Vitella Fomenko began their education at the International School of Paphos in 2011 and completed their IGCSEs and IA levels/Apolytirion in 2016. Vitella then attended The University of Sheffield from 2016 to 2019, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. In 2019, they enrolled at UCL and obtained a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technologies in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Vitella has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they received a Certificate of Academic Achievement for Chemistry & Medicine and a Certificate of Achievement for the Global Leaders Programme, both from Reach Cambridge. In 2022, they obtained a GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certification for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices with a focus on the U.S. FDA from the CITI Program.
