Visual Content Designer

General Description

We are seeking a talented and creative hybrid Visual Designer and UX/UI Designer to join our team and contribute to the design of client websites. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating simple and visually striking content, for websites. Candidates should have a strong understanding of visual systems and UI design principles. You will translate detailed wireframes into high-fidelity website pages and create captivating visual content to populate the site. You will balance time between creating and art directing content, skinning UI components, and contribute to our Figma design system. You will contribute to prototyping, and the design of the final UI system to create a flexible and simple user experience.

Roles and responsibilities

UI Design (50%)

• Collaborate with the UX Lead Designer to translate wireframes into visually appealing and user-friendly UI components.
• Design high-fidelity and interactive prototypes for pages and user flows, establish requirements for modules and components of global UI system.
• Ensure UI design adheres to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Figma design system.
• Participate in design reviews and actively contribute creative ideas.

Visual content design and art direction (50%)

• Create high-quality visual content (photography, icons, illustrations, diagrams, process flow charts and graphics) to populate website pages.

• Maintain visual consistency across all website elements.

• Work closely with the Content Strategist to ensure visual content aligns with overall website goals.

• Consider user engagement and emotional response when creating visuals.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Portfolio showcasing strong skills in UI design and visual communication.

• Intermediate-advanced English (written and spoken) for active participation in team discussions and client communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as UX/ UI designer.

• Familiarity with B2B marketing and software industry a plus.

• Experience working remotely and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams is preferred.
