Irvin Bezerra

Irvin Bezerra is an experienced data professional with a diverse background in data leadership, project coordination, research, and academia. Currently serving as a Data Team Leader at Cognizant since November 2021, Irvin oversees a team of data professionals, manages candidate interviews, and defines best practices for data projects. Prior roles include Project Coordinator focusing on agile management, Product Owner leading multidisciplinary teams, and College Teacher at both Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and Universidade Federal da Paraíba. Irvin's extensive experience in data engineering began at Gddoc, where responsibilities included database administration and managing software solutions across various technologies. Irvin is pursuing a Doctorate in Data Modeling/Storage and Database Administration while holding a Master's in Information Science and an undergraduate degree in Internet System Development.
