Soumen Jana

Soumen Jana is an experienced professional in process excellence and digital transformation, currently serving as Manager of Process Excellence Six Sigma at Cognizant since December 2023. Previously, Soumen held the position of Manager of Lean Digital Transformation at Genpact, where responsibilities included lean digital deployment in finance processes and risk assessment using predictive modeling. With a background as Associate Manager of Process and Productivity at GMR Group, Soumen conducted manpower productivity studies and streamlined business processes. Earlier experiences include roles at IDEMIA as an Industrial Engineer focusing on process improvements and at Gemba Concepts as a Lean Engineer implementing various lean strategies. Soumen began a career in quality assurance at JBM Group, contributing to quality improvement processes. Soumen holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DRIEMS University.
