Zorik Avanessian

Zorik Avanessian is an accomplished Chief Architect and AVP at Cognizant since May 2016, leading Application Development & Maintenance and Technical/Solution Architecture teams to drive strategy and transformation for major clients. Zorik's prior experience includes serving as Principal Enterprise Architect at SAIC from June 2011 to May 2016, where responsibilities encompassed managing multi-million dollar service contracts and providing strategic IT guidance. Zorik's extensive career also includes a tenure as Senior Enterprise Architect Manager at Grande Vitesse Systems, focusing on cost reduction strategies and the integration of business and technical teams. Zorik holds a BA in Genetics and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and has completed Associate degrees in Computer Science from Glendale Community College and De Anza College.
