Ellie Ghotbi

Ellie Ghotbi has held a number of prominent human resources positions over the past decade. In 2009, they were the Director of Human Resources and Executive Management Team at CHOC Children's- Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty, Inc. Ellie then moved to UnitedHealth Group in 2012, where they served as VP Human Resources/Human Capital Partner until 2016. After this, they became Head of HR Operations at SCAN Health Plan in 2019. Ellie then moved to Credit Union of Southern California as Senior Vice President Human Resources in 2019. Most recently, they have been the Vice President Human Resources at Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties since 2020. Currently, they are the Chief People Officer at Cognoa, a position they have held since 2023.

Ellie Ghotbi attended Western State College of Law from 1995 to 2000, where they earned their J.D. in Law. Prior to that, they attended UC Irvine from 1989 to 1994 and earned their B.S. in Biology.
