James Silver is a legal and operational executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Legal, Regulatory & Administrative Officer at Cognoa since February 2023, James is focused on AI-powered digital diagnostics and therapeutics that enhance early diagnosis and intervention for children. Previously, James held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Oligon from March 2021 to March 2023, where a new class of multimodal RNA therapeutics was developed to improve treatment outcomes. Prior experience also includes serving as Vice President of Corporate Development, Associate General Counsel, and Board Secretary at Systems Oncology, and Vice President of Strategic Operations and Assistant General Counsel. James's educational background includes degrees from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, City University of London, and the University of Toronto.
